  • Attracting Birds, Butterflies, Bees and other Wildlife Habitat - Wildlife Habitats with David Mizejewski in the Eagle Landing Room of the Burien Community Center * Addtional field trip for those interested: February 29th Field Trip/Work Party in the rain garden * 10:00-12:30 PM Location at the New Start Community Garden located at the New Start High School in the Highline School District, 614 SW 120th St, Burien, WA 98146 * Fee n/a * Age Youths must be accompanied with their parent or responsbile adult - Green infrastructure is an approach to water management that protects, restores, or mimics the natural water cycle to help restore health to Puget Sound waters. Rain gardens and other stormwater management systems for homes and buildings are effective, economical, and enhance wildlife habitat and quality of life for all. Planting native plants and creating rain gardens is a big part of the solution to creating a resilient Puget Sound.
